nRF Sniffer for 802.15.4 channel changing

I notice in github.com/.../nrf802154_sniffer.py that there is a line saying: TODO: Add toolbar with channel selector. I know extcap supports these toolbar controls and a way to interact with the extcap program. Is anyone working on this as it would be very useful for what I am trying to do, i.e. change the channel on the nRF52840 sniffer without having to stop the Wireshark capture and restart? I appreciate it would probably need change to both the extcap program and the sniffer code.

I don't have any details on if/when this feature will be added I'm afraid, but I'll add this as a feature request internally so it might jump up a few steps in priority. However, I would not hold my breath waiting for this feature if I were you. If you'd like to make it a priority, please contact the regional sales manager of your area, and they can help push it if it's a high priority feature for you. I think this could be useful for other users too. There is even an open PR which has been approved and never merged:

You might want to share the interest for this feature to the dev team. I would understand it stays low priority however.
