PCA10059 USB nRF52840 Dongle Direct Mode Test Inquiry

I am all new to nRF52480 dongle, would like to use Direct mode test getting error message in Direct Test Mode software (v2.0.3).

Can not communicate with device. Make sure it is not in use by another application and that it has a Direct Test Mode compatible firmware.

During testing, only run Direct mode test software. Dongle information as below:

Please kindly help to advise where I could get direct test mode firmware or other fixes can resolve this issue.

Could you please share the SDK version you are trying with? Are you following any of the samples in our SDK?

Dear Abhijith,

For you kind information, we did not try the SDK sample yet.

We installed nRF connect for Desktop and connect the dongle to PC to have a trial test. 

When we first run the dongle with "Bluetooth Low Energy" app, it asked to program the dongle.  After programming, it run and can be detected by the smartphone.

After that, we want to try coded PHY mode - longer range test with Direct Test mode app. Then we get the mentioned error message.

Currently we would like to do a simple test on coded PHY mode on long range connection with smartphone.

Please kindly advise how we should approach to make it work.
