nRF9160 & CBRS (B48)

Hi,

Is the nRF9160 capable of operating on the CBRS band (b48)?

I know it is not listed as a band that is supported by HW but I am curious if there is a software workaround?

No, sorry, that's not supported. The highest frequency that the HW can support is 2.2 GHz. B48 is at 3.5 GHz and well above the max frequency.
