Zigbee Messaging Cluster

Hello,

I'm trying to send message to ZC from my ED using Messaging Cluster.

I've added Messaging cluster with no attributes and I can see it on the ZC side.

Next I'm trying so send message:

by pressing button in button_handler:

zb_buf_get_out_delayed_ext(test_msg,ZB_TRUE,32);

I tried using ZC address - 0x0000 or broadcast msg - 0xFFFF but in sniffer I didn't see my message.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I want to send error code messages from the ED to the ZC to be able to debug the remote ED with an OTA firmware update. In other words I have remoted ED that I can't debug directly but I need to. Maybe there some other solution of communication for sending custom msgs between ED and ZC?

Did you check the return code from the zb_buf_get_out_delayed_ext() function?

Hi,

I recommend checking the log output(either RTT or UART backend), to see if there are any errors or warnings there. If you don't see anything wrong in the log output, then please upload the sniffer log.
