implement uart into ble beacon example

I ask you a question to see if my idea is possible.

there are two thing What I want - like title, implement uart into ble beacon example.

and the other thing is to send uart data as soon as the beacon is powered up in 10ms

The reason why I need to send uart data within 10ms is that the power supply to the ble module(not dk board) is maintained for 10ms only

This is because the power supply was made using piezo-electronic energy harvesting.

And we succeeded in operating the ble module with the "ble_app_beacon example" with this power supply.

but then I don't know how to implement UART in this beacon example.

Hello,

My suggestion is to start with the ble example with uart support:

It should be possible to modify the advertisment to contain beacon data, and then you already have uart working.

Tip: Make sure that the RXD pin is pulled high (for instance with pull-up, and not floating).

however, I'm not sure your Tip.

So does it mean that I set up an external pull-up resistor(typ. 13k ohm)?

or you want me set up a pull-up internally?

For instance yes, you can then compare with the original main.c from ble_app_uart on how to setup UART. By using ble_app_uart as starting project then all the include files and sdk_config is setup correct.

For instance yes, this is just to ensure that the RX pin is not floating, because this will cause UART framing errors. The pull-up can be 100kohm or bigger (it can be 13kohm also, but no need to be this low).
