Switching to latest NCS build

Hello,

I was using NCS 1.7.0 and developed MQTT and SPI slave based sensor monitoring system using nRF9160 and want to switch NCS to latest build (2.2.0). A whole lot of stuff have been changed including Devicetree definitions, Kconfig options, GPS API and so many other. My application which worked fine with 1.7.0 is no longer compiling. Is there an easy way to upgrade SDK and still keep my existing application.

There are many major version changes from v1.7.0 to 2.2.0. So it is expected to have many changes in the API in many modules. Unfortunately there is no easy way of doing this apart from trying to solve each compilation failure one by one.
