Can the nRF BLE Sniffer follow a periodic advertising train?

Hello,

is it possible to see periodic advertisement packets (AUX_SYNC_IND and AUX_CHAIN_IND) when sniffing the normal periodic_adv sample (running on 52840DK) with a 52840 dongle and the Nordic Sniffer hex? Because I can only see ADV_EXT_IND pointing to AUX_ADV_IND contatining the sync info but I never see AUX_SYNC_IND or AUX_CHAIN_IND packets.

Hi Theo, 

Yes the Nordic Sniffer can follow chained advertising. Please see the screenshot: 

But you would need to select the device in the device list as shown in the picture. 

If you need an example that does chained advertising you can have a look here. It was created with NCS v2.1.2
