Im working with nrf connect sdk 2.1.2 and this example.
It is configured in NCP mode but its not communicating with my host. Im wondering if it is due to UART has not enabled hardware flow control... Where can I enable it?

Hi,
From Thread Tools:
"Disable the Mass Storage feature on the device, so that it does not interfere with the core RCP functionalities. Also, force Hardware Flow Control to avoid potential race conditions related to the auto-detection:
JLinkExe -device NRF52840_XXAA -if SWD -speed 4000 -autoconnect 1 -SelectEmuBySN SEGGER_ID J-Link>MSDDisable Probe configured successfully. J-Link>SetHWFC Force New configuration applies immediately. J-Link>exit
"
Does this solve your issue?

I need to do it in built...I think your post is about configuring each device 1 by 1. I need a firmware that has the HWFC enabled by default.
Which device are you testing this for?

nrf52840DK, but my purpose is to implement in a custom board later
When using the DK and use USB J2 for communication, the data goes through UART to the Debugger chip, and then the debugger chip forwards it on a virtual COM port.
The configuration I gave you is for the Debugger chip.
If you want this to more realistic for a future custom board, I recommend that you build with:
west build -p always -b nrf52840dk_nrf52840 -- -DOVERLAY_CONFIG="overlay-usb.conf" -DDTC_OVERLAY_FILE="usb.overlay"
and then connect to the J3 USB connector (nRF USB).
This way you can use the USB driver for Spinel communication instead of UART.
