using EasyDma for RAM -> RAM memory transfers

Is it possible for the dma to be used for non peripheral memory use cases?

I have program that requires large amounts of on device memory transfers that i require being done in the background without cpu involvement
I was expecting to use the dma for that
but all the user guidance direct how to use with an external peripheral but my "peripheral"  is the ram itself on another address or different order.
is it possible?

The goal is to reduce cpu downtime
if the data is required to go through IO i would assume at some point it will bottleneck the system
i don't mind to do some weird piping if it's done inside the soc region
do you have any ideas?

unfortunately, as another user has already commented, this is not a feature nor the intended use case of the EasyDMA peripheral.

is the internal flash nvmc capable of interacting with the easydma?

The non-volatile memory controller does not use EasyDMA.
