not getting 1.8 volt in "SIM_1V8" pin

I have nrf9160 custom board, and I have issue with SIM module. I'm not getting 1.8 volt in "SIM_1V8" pin.

- I download the latest version from nRF Connect SDK v2.2.0 from nRF connect for desktop.

- then I upload nrf9160 sip firmware zip using programmer from nRF connect for desktop.

- from VScode I create new application (at_client) template, then create a new board

- after upload application code I open LTE Link Monitor:

    -select device.

    -show me this

    -after send AT+CFUN=1 then AT+CFUN? show me:

   -the modem is work but UICC,LTE,PDN not work.

I use local SIM card, when I check SIM 1V8 pin, it getting 0v what is reason?

I check all connections, no problems

in the app fw I add 

CONFIG_BSD_LIBRARY=y

note: in the modern nRF Connect SDK I did not found BSD library, I download it from old version and import it manually to nrf folder.

- this is app firmware.

Hi,

What is the SIM provider that you're using, and what region are you located at? 

1V8 is usually not supplied to the sim card if the nRF9160 is not able to initialize the sim card. Can you double check the connection between the sim card holder and the SiP and check if it works if you use another sim card.

I used another SIM card for MTN provider, I got this:

my country support 4G LTE network, but did not support 4G LTE-M, what is solve?

It seems like the issue with the SIM has been resolved and that the SIM card is initialized correctly now?

yes the problem has been resolved, but why LTE in grey color and PDN in red color Jared?
