802.15.4 Sniffer - How to set SDF

Hello,

I am attempting to use the 802.15.4 Sniffer on the 52840 dongle and wireshark plugins to build my own parser for a proprietary protocol. I am running into an issue because our protocol uses a  start-of-frame delimiter that is different from the 802.15.4 default SDF (0xA7). The sniffer works if I modify our protocol to use the default SDF, but does not work using our custom SDF.

Is there an API call that is available over the Sniffer FW serial interface to set the SDF (as well as other radio parameters)? Can the API documentation or source for this firmware be shared?

Hi, 

Unfortunately, there is no API to achieve that. The Sniffer for 802.15.4 doesn't provide that usage.
