fatal error: compiler_abstraction.h: No such file or directory

im using SEGGER embedded studio V7.10a . im trying to build the example from nRF5_SDK_15.0.0_a53641a/

im using the free licanse for the nRF52832 on public configuration : Debug.

slution : nRF5_SDK_15.0.0_a53641a\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_uart\pca10040\s132\ses.

when i try to build im getting fatal error: compiler_abstraction.h: No such file or directory.

i did not do any changes on the files yet.

how can i fix it ?

Hi! 

If you take a look at the release notes for nRF5 SDK v.15.0.0, you can see that the tested and compatible version of SES is v.3.34. 

Could you try to downgrade the SES version and try to build the example again?

Note: If you are using nRF5 SDK I would recommend that you upgrade to the latest version (currently v.17.1.0).

my current setup is SES 5.42 with SDK17.1.0.
im still getting the same error.

I've tested the same setup and have no issues. 

Where did you install the SDK? In order to avoid trouble with path length you should install the SDK as close to the root folder as possible. i.e: C:/xxx/SDK_folder
