Which DKs are relevant for programming nRF9160 on Actinius Icarus?

Hi all,

I'm trying to flash my Actinius Icarus V2.0 board, which is based on nRF9160.

I have the required TagConnect cable, but when using VSCode and nRF52833 DK I get this message:

The code isn't flashed properly.

Which DKs will work in this case? Will Segger's JLink work as well?

AFAIK, the nRF52833 doesn't support to use Jlink for the nRF9160.

According nRF9160 feather it requires either a nRF9160-DK or a nRF5340-DK.

I use the nRF9160-DK. I prefer that, it's a robust way to develop and test the firmware and then flash it to a Thingy:91.

With the nRF5340-DK I have no experience, it's mainly cheaper, but you can't use to develop nor test the firmware without a Thingy:91.

And you may use a Segger JLink.
