Error while combining MQTT and GNSS samples

Dear Nordic Team, 

I am currently trying to combine GNSS sample and MQTT_Simple sample together so that I can send location data to MQTT broker. However, I am facing some issues while combining these two samples. I have already modified the Kconfig and prj.conf files. However, I am getting this error while building the application. May I know how to resolve this issue?

Hi,

Just a quick comment: I noticed you are enabling logging module twice, with different names and different values. Could this be a hint? Did you edit t cmake.txt as well?

Hi, thanks for the feedback. After removing one logging module, I successfully built the application. May I ask if simply removing one logging module is the correct way to do?

Yes, but the name of the logging module should correspond with the project name in the cmakelists.txt as well, IIRC (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here). The second argument in enabling logging module is the level of logs you want. This is what separates LOG_INF and LOG_ERR and so on. So you might want to make sure you have the appropriate level here. Level 3 will not print LOG_DBG I think.

I would also recommend you to check if you got all the extra parameters from the cmakelists.txt of gnss sample. The extra libraries it uses must be included there as well. But if you successfully built it, it might all we fine already. Just a tip.
