MPSL ASSERT: 112, 2197

Hi,

I am getting an ASSERT from MPSL when the netcore is booting.

I am not able to find any documentation for what 112, 2197 means. This exact code has been working before, but we have made some changes to our PCB, and when I was trying to test this code on the new PCB I get this error.

What did you change on the PCB? Did you for instance happen to change anything in regards to the RC oscillator?

Could you test with the internal RC as well?

And could you create another DevZone ticket asking for a HW review, just to make sure that everything is okay.

I have now tested with internal 32kHz RC oscillator on both cores. The application behaves the same, that is, I get the same crash on netcore.

We have a watchdog running on the application core, but this watchdog is controlled by the netcore over the rpcmsg service. It is both started and kicked by the netcore. If I remove the code that starts and kicks the watchdog on the netcore the controller stops rebooting, but the crash on the netcore is the same.

After further inspection it seems like our PCB manufacturer has placed the HF crystal the wrong way on our PCB. You may close this case now, I do not need any more assistance in this case.
