Shoult I use UNKNOWN, some ridiculous number ( #define BLE_APPEARANCE_NORDIC_LED_BUTTON_DEMO 2013) or skip it as you did and in this case why?

Hi Boris,

If there is no device in the list matched with (or similar to) your device, you should skip assign the appearance.

Appearance is used to help the master recognize the type of the device. For example, if you advertise with Heart Rate Sensor appearance, Windows 8 will display your device with a Heart Rate logo instead of a generic one when scanning.
