Overlay files for different builds

I have a project that requires different build for the same board, but need to use different overlay setting (i.e. different BUAD rate, GPIO's,....)

Is it possible to specify a different overlay file than the default files that is created during the build configuration process,

Hello,

You should be able to create two different .overlay files, and call them whatever you like. Then you can include only one of them using the "Extra CMake arguments" button, and use the argument:

-DDTS_OVERLAY_FILE=my_custom_file_1.overlay

For those having trouble to make this work... the correct argument is -DDTC_OVERLAY_FILE  (not -DDTS_OVERLAY_FILE).
