Step-by-step setup of nrf52 DK on Mac

Is there a step-by-step setup for the nrf52 developer kit for Mac (OS X)? For example, when I connect my DK board, it does NOT appear as a USB drive which is the very first step of bringing up the board.

well it should - no drivers required - although it helps to have a recent version of JLink. There's basically no difference between setting up the nRF52 dev board and the nRF51 dev board, they operate identically.
