Does the nrf5340-ADK app support non-Nordic sink devices?

I'd like to use the nrf5340-ADK as a unicast LE Audio source device with some other, non-Nordic device as the sink. This sink would have standard LE Audio support. Does the demo app code support this? If not, can you provide some pointers on what would need to be changed to make it work?

Hello Chris,

Yes, there are no limitations in our nrf5340 audio application that the sink must be a Nordic device.

However, please keep in mind that many LE Audio platforms/implementations that are currently available is still offered as EXPERIMENTAL (including ours), so there might be instabilities or slight differences in the implementations between the vendors that causes instabilities or incompatibilities still, but rest assured that we are working continuously to remedy any issues we find.

Just out of curiosity, which devices do you intend to test against?
