nrfjprog: "GetErrorInfo failed."

When I try to run "nrfjprog -v --log" I get the error message "GetErrorInfo failed", "nrfjporog DLL load failed.".

There is already one ticket about this, and the reason was that Windows 7 was used instead of Windows 10. However I am using Windows 10. I've also tried to reinstall, to no avail.

Please take a look at this. Thanks!

I do not recall seeing this problem on Windows 10 before. Please try to download and install the 64-bit variant and see if you get the same result.

I've used the 32 bit version before. I now reinstalled the 64 bit version (10.19), but the problem still persists.

I see. Then it might be worth trying to re-install the J-link drivers. They can be downloaded at https://www.segger.com/downloads/jlink/. Version 7.80c is the one we have tested this nrfjprog release with.

I have asked around here, and no one seems to recall seeing this problem before, unfortunately. 

Could you try uninstalling all your current nrfjprog and J-link installs, then re-install the latest 64-bit version of the command line tools? I am hoping a clean install may do the trick.

I tried that, but still got the same result.

Then I installed it on a different machine, and it worked. This is an acceptable workaround for me.

Thank you for the update. I am glad to hear that this is an acceptable workaround for you. Though it would have been good for us to understand the root cause.
