Migration for FDS on nrf connect SDK

I am planning to migrate from nRF5 SDK to nrf connect SDK.

My application use FDS Flash Storage Library.

Please let me know which module of nrf connect SDK is suitable to replace FDS.

The closest library to FDS in nRF Connect SDK would be Non-Volatile Storage (NVS) in Zephyr.

Does NVS not require the garbage collection call (fds_gc) that fds required?

Yes, garbage collection is handled internally in the library. You can have a look at the source to see how this happens.
