Is there a Windows software equivalent to Nordic apps used in mobile phones

Hi,

I would like to connect my nRF51822 board to my PC (Bluetooth 4 compatible) instead of my Android phone.

1. Do we have a software (in exe) format available for that? Is that even possible?
2. Do I need to install some BLE drivers in Windows for that (Could somebody post a link from where I can download the same)

Note: I came to know that I could write custom windows software and solve my problem. Right now I would like to bypass that somehow due to time constraints

Any help is appreciated :)

@Vineeshvs: Please let me know your Windows version. From Windows 8.0 BLE is supported natively, you can follow the documentation and example here.

We also provide software to run on PC, but you need a nRF51 dongle for that. Please look for Master Control Panel application in the download tab here.
