I received the notice that an update was available for nRF Connect to v4.0.0. I installed the update, and then it prompted to update all apps. The app I use the most is Programmer. After the updates, I only get an error message of:
Unable to detect version of nrfjprog DLL
Unable to detect version of JLink.
I am up to date with my Jlink version as of yesterday.
I noticed online that you can still download v3.12, so I uninstalled v4 and reinstalled v3.12 from the website. When I installed Programmer, I got a notice that the app was intended for v4 and might not work correctly. I went ahead and used it and it worked fine.
I then allowed nRF Connect to update itself to v4.0.0 again today, and I am back with the same error and unable to use the program.
I can call nrfjprog through the CLI and it works fine, and I'm just doing things manually until this can be updated and resolved. I'm on Windows 10 21H2. Jlink v7.86. (the program seems to want Jlink 7.66, but again, it works with 7.86 if I don't allow nRF Connect to update to v4)
Any thoughts are appreciated.
