Can we use PN7160 NFC Reader instead of PN532 Adafruit NFC Reader

In my project, I want to use PN7160 NFC Reader instead of PN532 NFC Reader because in nRF SDK had a library for PN532 but the library is comfortable for PN7160 or not .??

Yes, i can go for PN532 also but they are not recommended for a new design by anybody. So Please let us know if it's comfortable or not.??

Hi

The PN7160 and PN532 seem vastly different in both pin assignments and a few functionalities, so I don't think it will be straight-forward to use the PN7160 with the PN532 library.

Regardless, if you're worried about recommendations for new designs, we also recommend using the nRF Connect SDK instead of the nRF5 SDK as per our statement here.

In the nRF Connect SDK, the NFC reader library we have available is the NFC reader ST25R3911B, which I guess would be the recommended one in NCS.

Due to a stock problem, we decided to go with PN7160, can I get any newly built library for this?

For custom design and everything ST25R3911B-based reader is best.??
