Hi, I'm looking to use the nRF51822 in a new design and would like to know if there is tool available to calculate how long it will be able to run of a battery when set to specific mode? Thanks in advance.

In addition to Wojtek's answer, there is a blog post that gives some examples on current consumption. Additionally, there is info in the current consumption guide.
Just to mention, if low current consumption is the main design criteria, nRF52 is a better choice, generally with 40%-50% current consumption compared to nRF51.
Can't wait for new chip version, with shorter errata then :)
Thanks Wojtek, I've been using this graph and cannot seem to find how long it take for pairing to take place. I'm also a bit uncertain to how much data is sent once connected? From advertising one can see from the payload but I'm not sure how to calculate during connection. I hope you can me here? Thanks.
