nRF52840 is the 32MHz crystal needed for SWD

I am validating a prototype with nRF52840

I hand soldered the nRF52840 (QFN package) and few passives to make sure I can connect with SWD to the microcontroller 

Currently, I can't connect to it,  here is the current state of my board 

Only SWDIO and SWDCLK are connected to my probe

Can you tell me if the 32MHz oscillator is needed for SWD ? I want to make sure before reflowing

The 32 MHz crystal is not required for SWD but most examples (especially BLE) will require it present.

SWD needs VCC and GND in addition to SWDIO and SWDCLK for most debuggers.

The DKs have some detection pins requiring GND connection IIRC to detect the debug out cable/device.
