flutter dependency for OTA?

Hi,

Our team is working on the flutter platform, they want to implement over-the-air(OTA) feature, so that can update the thingy53 board firmware from the flutter application, could your please suggest if Nordic or any another developer, developed flutter dependency for OTA?

I have gone through this link nordic_dfu, but it is mentioned "This library allows you to do a Device Firmware Update (DFU) of your nrf51 or nrf52 chip from Nordic Semiconductor." 

What will be for nrf53?

the firmware:- peripheral sample with custom code.

Hi,

The nRF connect SDK uses the mcumgr protocol for DFU whereas the library you linked to supports the Secure DFU protocol used in the nRF5 SDK and is not compatible with the thingy 53, unfortunately. The differences between these libraries are also summarized in the readme here: https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/IOS-nRF-Connect-Device-Manager  

We provide native DFU libraries for mcumgr on iOS and Android, but there is currently no version for flutter. However, I will ask the developers if there are any immediate plans to add flutter support. Will let you know when I know more.
