Couldnt power up nrf9160 by using external supply P21

Dear Nordic Team, 

I am currently trying to use the external power supply P21 to power up nrf9160 DK by connecting the P21 (nrf9160) to Arduino 5V and ground (nrf9160) to ground(Arduino). However, the nordic board is not powering up. May I know how to resolve this issue?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting DevZone at NordicSemi.

To power up 9160DK, all you have to do is provide 3-5V supply through P21 connector.

Can you check that you are switching DK on after connecting the power supply.

Also, make sure that the circuit/board providing the supply is also ON.

Moreover, before connecting to the P21 on the DK, can you check and confirm how much voltage you are getting on the lines from your other board.

`HI, sorry for the late reply, I have tried using oscilloscope to power to nrf9160 but there is no green led light up.

Did you make sure that you are getting power on the lines that you are connecting to the DK?

What value you are supplying with?

Also confirm that DK is ON.
