Problem programming nRF52 DK

Hello,

I received the nRF52 DK and tried setting it up as described in infocenter-->nRF52 Series --> Get Started.

I have the following installed: Keil uVision5

Error: Load "\nRF\nRF52_SDK_0.9.1_3639cc9\examples\peripheral\blinky\pca10036\blank\arm5_no_packs\_build\nrf52832_xxaa.axf" Error: Flash Download failed - Target DLL has been cancelled Flash Load finished at

Working on Windows 7; used nRFTools 7.6.0 installer successfully; Installed nRFgo Studio.

I am able to see the JLINK drive

After doing all these setup I am not able to connect to nRF52832 through USB and flash the blinky program.

I am not sure if i am missing anything here. I would appreciate if anyone would help me out in setting this up.

I tried to drag and drop the application file : blinky.hex into the J-Link drive. I was able to successfully download and the LED's were blinking as well. However I still have issues with the J-Link driver, I am unable to use Keil for SWD. Even goStudio is not detecting nRF52DK. Any hint from Nordic???

Did you install the J-Link drivers? The yellow exclamation marks in device manager might suggest a driver issue.

The JLINK drive shows up even without drivers since it works as a regular USB drive; no extra drivers needed so it might give you the false impression that the debugger is good to go.

+! vote to check with the drivers, re-install if necessary. That exclamation mark in device manager should not occur. Latest version is available here

Thanks a lot for your input. I did try installing latest J-Link drivers but it did not help. The problem was with windows drivers. I had to clean the registry, uninstall and re-install everything to make it work.

It would have been hard to guess that something went wrong in the registry. Glad that you figured it out.
