Help Required in SChematic Design for NRF52832 for Oscillator and JTAG Programmer

I am designing a PCB for one of my prototype.

1. I am having confusion in connecting the oscillator with the NRF52832. The official document shows a oscillator with 2 pins but the one I get with same part number has 4 pins. I have attached both the images.

2. ALso I need help in where and how can I connect the programming pins on the PCB using a JTAG? Or/And can I use UART to program the NRF?

Hi,

1. X1 in your schematic seems to be an external 32MHz oscillator (it has a supply pin "VCC" and an output pin), but what you need is a 32MHz crystal. According to this post https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/15651/nrf52832-external-clk-source, it is not possible to use an external oscillator.

2. SWDIO and SWDCLK can be used to program the device. If you have a Nordic Development Kit you can use that for programming, but there are also other options like Jlink. Programming by UART is only possible if you flash a bootloader first that supports UART mode.
