Error -128 connecting to MQTT Broker

Hello,

I'm testing the simple_mqtt example in the Actinius Icarus card (nRF9160).
I managed to connect to the broker, subscribe to a topic and receive messages a few days ago.

All of a sudden I started getting an error after connecting. It makes the connection and after 1 to 2 seconds the error -128 appears.

This is a screenshoot when it was ok.

Now it gives me this error.

Which NCS version do you use?

Have you tried MQTT sample from NCS v2.3.0?

Hi,

When I started testing I used the ncs 2.0.0. Now I'm using the 2.3.0.

In the 2.3.0 the simple MQTT doesn't exist.

I looked at the MQTT from 2.3.0 but it seems much more confusing.

I don't program in C for 30 years and after C# and Python it's not easy.

I'll look at the MQTT from the 2.3.0 ncs then I let you know.

Hi,

It seems that the simple MQTT sample doesn't work with ncs 2.3.0.

I tried the MQTT from ncs 2.3.0 and it connects to the test.mosquitto.org on port 8883. I will working with this one.

Now I've just need to configure my Thingsboard PE (on CentOS machine) to work with TLS.

Hi,

MQTT sample in NCS v2.3.0 can be found in samples/net/mqtt. It is tested and should work.
