Hi,

i have purchased the following module

However, after connecting the VCC and GND to 3.3v DC supply the module is not detected. My questions are :-

1. Does this module come with firmware preloaded, or does one have to load it

2. If the latter, i.e. it has to be loaded - vs using a JTAG or JLINK for some other programmer, can this be done by directly connecting the SWDCLK, SWDIO line to a FTDI or say an Ardunio i.e. use either an FTDI device or an Arduino as a programmer. If yes, could someone please guide me to the appropriate link

3. I also read somewhere, that OTA programming of this module is possible. So will also be curious to understand exactly how ?

@Sundeep: Arduino board or FTDI will not help you. You need programmer like J-Link (best support). Somehow it's also possible to make it working with other programmers, but this will require more time make it working.

@Punit: I suggest that you open a new thread, and try to describe your issue in more detail. What SDK and Softdevice do you use. What example code, etc... There can be many reasons why it doesn't work. When non-BLE examples work, but BLE examples don't, and assuming that you have remembered to program the Softdevice, the usual suspect is wrong 32.768kHz oscillator settings.
