VSCode IDE - compatibility with PlatformIO plugin

I am currently using VSCode with PlatformIO for Arduino-style development.

I want to start testing with my two nRF5340-Audio-DK boards using VSCode and the Nordic Connect / Command Line Tools setup.

Prior to adding these I'd like to make sure that these are compatible with the VSCode setup I have now.  That is, can I use both concurrently?

Thank you, and any advice on how to switch between them is welcome.

Hello Mike, 

If you can use PlatformIO and the nRF Connect for VS Code extension concurrently, we can't guarantee. However, it is possible to selectively enable/disable any extension per workspace to avoid any conflicts.

See the context menu of the extension in the extensions panel.
