nrf51822 connect with ipad mini,and turn off the panel

Hi!all: I used nrf51822 to connect with iPad mini3,and if I turnoff the iPad mini3 panel ,does the iPad mini3 will send BLE suspend command or any others to nrf51822 ? If so,Is there any flag in nrf51822 can indicate this state?I want to do something in nrf51822 when the iPad mini3 panel is turned off. thanks!!

You would need to handle background execution mode in order to keep the connection. Please have a look here and here.

Background mode is handled in our nRFToolbox sample app, you can have a look.
