Good day 

I am trying pull an update from our own server using lwm2m and have attempted to follow the steps accordingly.  The sample I'm using is the standard lwm2m client sample.  I seem to  be getting an error which is documented as a connection timeout.  Any ideas on what I need to do ?

Are you talking about certificates for the website(where i'm pulling from) or for the device? not quite understanding.  The website does not use any security at the moment

Hard to say. In your case you are not even getting connected to the server, whereas the one you linked to is connecting but failing to receive all of the data. In your case it looks more like a certificate issue.

If possible, you should try with LTE-M as well.

I have created and used a CA certificate as you have told me to do and I have connected without using https.  I don't know what else to do.  Could you give me more details on the matter as LWM2M FOTA updates over NBIOT is a feature I was told was possible.  Please could you put me in contact with someone who can help me or we will have to get in contact with Magnus Pedersen again

I will ask internally if there is anything that can be done. It would be beneficial if you could do a modem trace from the failed connection attempt.

I will definitely do a modem trace soon.  Ive also tried to run the asset tracker sample.  I can connect to the nrfcloud and perform all functions but when I attempt a firmware update I get the same error.

Just for clarification, I am using the standard sample and changing the prj.conf file so that is works with NBIOT
