Hi,
I'm planning on replacing the MXCHIP Atwin15x0 WiFi SoC in my latest design. It simply does not feel good, the comms hang up, the NTP in not as precise as needed etc. I definitely want to avoid anything ESPish as I have only the worst experience with those chips.
The NRF7002 looks promising for me, SPI/SDIO, all new design. The problem I seem to have is that I'm currently not using any NRF SoCs in my design, I use STM32 mcus and I merely want to add a Wifi solution - no BLE or orther low performance systems. The problem is, there are no drivers available, no porting guide for the third party host mcus.
PJ.
