error: cannot open source file

I am using nRF Connect SDK v2.1.0.  I build aws_iot straight from the example folder without any changes.  I have 10 errors and 2 warnings.  The interesting thing is the build actually finishes and seems to run ok.  Any idea why I am getting those errors and warnings?

I started seeing the same problem today (24 April 2023).  It was not happening Friday (21 April 2023).

this seems like a vscode bug. Have you tried building from the command line using west?

No, I haven't.  Sorry to say that I am a SDK type of guy.  Using West in a command line will be a disaster for me.  I don't have much hair left to pull.

Okay, I was just thinking if it works with command line, then we know it's most probably a vscode issue. Have you tried reinstalling vscode/nRF connect extension?

I did.  I even try a slightly newer version of SDK.  Still having the same issue.  Weird!!
