Cannot compile after update nRF Connect for VS Code to v2023.4.148

I can no longer compile my projects after updating extension "nRF Connect for VS Code" to v2023.4.148 today.
Up to v2023.2.56 it worked fine!

From version v2023.4.148 comes:
CMake Error at D:/Nordic/v2.2.0/zephyr/cmake/modules/FindZephyr-sdk.cmake:56 (find_package):
Could not find a configuration file for package "Zephyr-sdk" that is
compatible with requested version "0.15".

It might be interesting that I have several SDK versions installed (NCS 1.9.1, 2.0.2, 2.1.3, 2.2.0, 2.3.0).
I have my projects in a workspace with:
"nrf-connect.topdir": "${nrf-connect.sdk:2.1.3}",
"nrf-connect.toolchain.path": "${nrf-connect.toolchain:2.1.3}",

Apparently the new extension mixes v2.1.3 and v.2.2.0:

I'm experiencing the same problem. I can get around it by reverting to an older version of "nRF Connect for VS Code" extension (2023.2.56). It says "Couldn't find any nRF Connect SDK installations." I use the default installation of c:\ncs but it can never find the default tool chain on it's own. I always have to find the tool chain and refresh the drop down so that it shows up to be selected. Since the refresh button on the drop down is disabled, I can't force a refresh to display the tool chain.

Could you try going to the "extension settings" in the settings of nRF Connect for VSCode extension and select the default provider as "nrfjprog" ? And then see if the problem exists?

That made no difference. Still can't make the toolchain display in the drop down to select it even though I browse to select one. I can browse to select the SDK and it adds it to the drop down but never for the toolchain.

To make things more interesting, the "APP: build" info shows that it knows what the toolchain is but doesn't know what the SDK is. This would not be a problem if browsing to the toolchain would populate the drop down so that I could select it.

Where have you downloaded the SDK to? Where is the path? 

Also, where are the corresponding toolchain paths?

Also, it would be easier if you share a support information too.

Just where you would expect it (C:\ncs\toolchains). You can also see the tool chain path in my previous screen shot. Everything is at the default path. I have no reason to put there anywhere else.
