Why can't the sample App in Google Play detect a beacon that has a manufacturer ID different than 89 (decimal)?

The sample app only detects beacons with Nordic's manufacturer ID 89. The app is provided as an example. If you want to create your own app detecting beacons with you own manuf. ID, you can start out with the Android source code for the app: github.com/.../Android-nRF-Beacon. Or iOS: github.com/.../IOS-nRF-Beacons. (Note that the iOS Beacon API only supports beacons that complies with iBeacon spec.).
