Blinky LED example does not work on NRF board

Hello,

I am following along the YouTube tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjVvfU6ShUU&list=PLx_tBuQ_KSqEt7NK-H7Lu78lT2OijwIMl&index=4&ab_channel=NordicSemiconductor) on how flash the Blinky code, however none of the LEDs turned on after I flashed it.  Everything run fine on VS Code. What am I missing?

Hi Ahmed,

Could you provide few more details on your building environment? WHich board are you working with? Is it a custom board or one of our DKs?

Which SDK version are you using?

Do you get any build or error logs?

Thanks for the quick reply!  

I am using VS Code to flash to Nordic NRF52832 board. 

The nRF Connect SDK is 2.3.0 version. 

The Toolchain is also 2.3.0

No error when I build the configuration or flashing.  It seems like everything went fine on the software end according to the tutorial that I am following on YouTube.

Did you do any hardware changes on the DK? Cut any solder bridge or change a switch position etc?

Have you tried to flash a fw via west? Just to confirm that the problem occurs not only with VSCode.

No, I did not cut any solder bridge nor changed a switch position.  

No, I did not.  Is that another software?

1) No I did not.  I followed the tutorial and picked nrf52840dk_nrf52840. 

2) Blinky LED I believe

That explains it, when using the nRF52832-DK, make sure to build for nrf52dk_nrf52832
