west build command gen_defines.py failed with return code: 1

Hi,

I want to build a project, but I can't succeed.

VScode and plug-ins have been reinstalled.But it still doesn't work properly.

Any help on how this can be fixed or what is causing the problem would be helpful.

Hi,

You seem to have a whitespace before the "description" key in your nrf_uart.yaml file that should not be there. Removing it should fix the problem.

My problem has been solved. I thought that was originally in the SDK. Just remove nrf_uart.yaml.
