Static passkey with encryption

Hello,

I am working on S110 SDK 9.0 and softdevice 8.0 on EK board. I am able to authenticate the connection using static passkey. I need the information about encrypting the key. Is the MITM feature encrypts the key or do I have to enable the encryption?

Yes i know that. But still I get confused when I saw encrypt option in MCP. Then for what purpose that option is there in MCP?
