Gatt Error 133 0x0085 from Android 7 and 10 with both nRF Connect and custom App. A phone with Android 13 does connect.

Hi all,

Just last week I started having a problem connecting to our device from either nRF Connect or out custom App. nRF Connect throws the Gatt Error 133 (0x0085), as described in

Is there a fix for this issue given nRF51 hardware with SDK12.3 and SD130?

Device Firmware is loosely based on the SDK’s BLE_UART example

Using the nRF51 DK, board #PCA10028, SDK 12.3, SD 130 to develop for a proprietary design

Compiling with Keil uVision5 – lite

MS Windows 10 Pro

Test phones are Moto G7 Power, Android 10 and LG G5, Android 7

I was able to correct the problem by rebooting the phones. OTOH, there is no evidence that running the App and having BLE reject the connection did not cause the need to reboot.

I am dropping this issue from this forum as it is not really a Nordic problem.
