S130 Multi-link SoftDevice released. Tell us what you think.

Our most advanced Bluetooth Smart SoftDevice to date is now - S130. We're excited in a big way about this one covering as it does so many different options in one protocol stack.

Again, we always value feedback from you guys toiling hard out there making great and cool stuff that the world gets to see and use, or just making things because it's fun and cool. So please let us know here - what's great, what's not, improvements, tweaks, it's all great for us, and you in the long run.

cheers, The Nordic Team

  • Great features in S130, but a SDK without S130 documentation (now there are only S110 and S120) no examples using gcc... is not useful.

I've an heartfelt request to Nordic, please, provide more support for OS X and Linux.

Nordic has added support for IAR IDE (for those who love the 80's ), please, take into account (for those who like modern times) to support CrossWork as IDE for OS X/Linux people, there is a great post in devzone blog.

As RK wrote " I came to Nordic because they support open source tools, at least a bit, thank you Nordic, this is one of the reasons I love you. I can use Makefiles and gcc but it's not the easiest way to develop, especially when it comes to debugging." and I fully agree with him.

    Thanks,
