Is there a HCI interface according to BT-SIG requirements?

Hi,

The SoftDevices we provide are a combination of a host and controller. The Host Controller Interface is meant to expose an interface against a controller, to be used from a host layer. Since we provide both parts, the interface is already tightly coupled with the host layer, and is not accessible in the final SoftDevice product.

If you need some HCI for use on Windows/Linux, there are some options. See one of these questions: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../ devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../ devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

Or make use of the PC driver github.com/.../pc-ble-driver

Alternatively use the older Master Control Panel and its included hex file, that speaks HCI: www.nordicsemi.com/.../nRF51-DK (it does not have the latest link layer features).
