Howto save radio power when not needed during bond connection?

How to reduce power, for bond connections such as cscs services which only requires communication once per second?

Is there a way to manually / automagically turn off the BLE radio when it is not needed. BLE communication is only required once per second?

Have you tried modifying the connection parameters and request a longer connection interval? How often do you see that the radio is on now compared to the 1 second schedule that you would like to be on?

Connection Parameters are the Answer

I found the parameters which give the most efficient operation, are best determined/verified by experimentation.

Warning. (the real problem in my case) if there are problems with the twi block you will not be able to enter low power mode.
