There is no debugger connected with the PC. Nrf52840 PCA 10056

Helllo, I have PCA 10056 board with me. Somehow, IMy Windows 10 PC is not able to recognize the board. The nrfStudio Go is not able to recognze the board. I remember I programmed board once and now I am not able to even see the board in PC. When I turn on the board the old program is running. When I turn on the board by pressing the RESET button, I am able to see LED5 blinking. Did i erase the bootloader or something. How can I recover from here?

I do not believe it is possible to erase (ie, brick) the segger software. Try re-installing the segger software. Just run the updater for the current version of J-Link. Also, you can try doing an uninstall/reinstall from device manager.

Do you think the board is dead now? As I am not ale to load the code?

I doubt it. First try different usb cable. Then see if it shows up in Segger J-link configurator. From there you can select it and choose update firmware. Which version J-link do you have installed?

If you are using the current version of J-Link (according to their website it is 6.22d) and you have tried everything in my above comment and it still doesn't show up in nRFGo, then follow the instructions in the following post for recovering your segger: forum.segger.com/index.php

THank you for the reply. I have connected my board to the PC via USB. then I opened the J-Link configurator and I am not able to see any update in the software. If you turn on the device(PCA 10056) using on-off button then the LED 5 is not blinking. But if you press the RESET/IF BOOT pin and then switch on then the LED 5 starts blinking. THe blinking interval is 1 second.
