Wi-Fi Scan Sample causing error (Boot_sig check failed for RPU(0))

Hi,

I am flashing a modified version of the wifi scan sample onto my nrf7002dk. Most of the time, the firmware will run and return the expected results. Sometimes, I will get this error:

[00:00:11.135,772] <err> wifi_nrf: wifi_nrf_if_init_zep: Device wlan0 is not ready

[00:00:11.136,016] <err> wifi_nrf: wifi_nrf_if_start_zep: Device wlan0 is not ready

And the scanning fails. What is causing the error and how do I prevent this from happening?

Which NCS version do you use?

Could you please specify the changes which you have made to the wi-fi scan sample?

Could you specify how often does this error appear?

I am not bothering to try to fix. At least for me, the error only happens after flashing code. If I flash then reboot the board, it runs 100% reliably. I was told their engineering team seems to be looking into it though.

Copy that. It seems to be interference by a wifi router in our room... When I go to another room that's relatively far from the router, the wifi boots up and the scan works perfectly.

Hey Michael, I am back to the 7002dk and all three boards are getting this error for me. Did you ever figure out a solution to this?
