nRF Connect SDK - nRF52833 DK: 'Erase and Write' option greyed out in Programmer application of nRF Connect for Desktop

When trying to follow the steps given in https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/working_with_nrf/nrf52/gs.html to configure the DK, I am unable to complete step 3 of the 'Installing the sample' section as the Erase and Write option in the Programmer application is greyed out. The 'read' option also does not appear to be functioning correctly. I did the process correctly for two other identical chips purchased at the same time, but this only this one is not working correctly. I have attached the log file generated throughout the process and a screenshot of the Programmer application after disconnecting the device.

Here is a screenshot of the Programmer application with the nrf52833 DK connected.

I am bit confused because the device you mentioned is nRF52833DK, then it should be visible as nRF52833 DK (See my screenshot). But the selected device in your screenshot is visible as JLink.

Can you once try recovering the device to disable the read back protection? For this you need to download nRF comman lIne tools and run "nrfjprog --recover" command. Then try to use the programmer App.
