nrf5340 in the nrf7002 DK is supplyed in normal mode but seems to have a high voltage schematic

from documentation, in normal mode the nrf5340 does not need a self in dcch pin, and VDDH is connected to VDD.

But in the the nrf7002 dk the schema is:

Here VDD is connected to VDDH, but why there is a self connected to DCCH ? knowing that VDD_nR53 is 1.8V.

When nRF5340 is configured in High voltage mode the inductor LDCCH is used for the High voltage regulator(VREGH). The DCCH pin is the DC/DC converter output of VREGH.

Please refer to the Reference circuitry  where "DCDC on VREGH" is enabled for both versions of Config. 1 in comparison to the rest of the circuit configurations.

Refer to the Reference circuitry, the config.1  VDD is not powered by a battery or a extern regulator. But in the n7002 DK, as you can see VDD is powered by the 1.8V extern regulator, the same supply used for VDDH. So why the n7002dk  uses DCCD and its self  to convert 1.8V from VDDH to 1.8V to VDD that is also connected to VDDH ?

Thank you for asking about this. As you point out, nRF5340(U1) is configured in Normal voltage mode. So if you design your board using Normal voltage mode you could remove L4, C19 and C20. You should still connect HVDD to VDD as according to the nRF5340 reference design.
